Tim Wilkin Garden & Pond Services
Tim Wilkin Garden & Pond Services
You can hire me or one of my team for a one-off garden tidy, or regularly either weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. We're flexible to fit in with your needs and budget. The majority of our regular customers see me or one of my team bi-weekly, for between 2 to 4 hours per visit. We will help to keep your garden looking its very best, throughout the year.
We offer a full package of lawn care, from cutting, strimming, edging, re-seeding, turf laying, Spring, Summer and Autumn feeding, moss control, weed control, scarifying and aerating. We offer lawn services regularly or on an ad hoc basis, as and when you require.
Once your hedge has reached a height and width you are happy with, maintain it with regular trimming to remove nearly all young (less than a year old) growth. This is usually carried out once a year on informal hedges, and once, twice or three times a year on formal ones.
Pond maintenance is usually seasonal, the type of maintenance required will depend on your pond. For example, an ornamental pond with fish, such as Goldfish or Koi will need more specialist care than a natural wildlife pond. Generally, ponds need a clean twice a year, once towards the end of Winter or early Spring and then again at the end of the season, (beginning of Autumn).
Whether you're looking for a natural wildlife pond, or something more ornamental, we can complete the whole process for you. From initial designs to building and supplying plants, water features, pumps and filtration, even fish!
It's important to make a good first impression, and keeping the outside space of your office or work unit clean and tidy is important. I can help you with regular maintenance visits, keep the weeds at bay, cut the lawns, trim the shrubs and tidy the hedges, I'll even collect and dispose of litter, making sure that your visitors and staff are greeted with a well-organised, clean and attractive workspace.
I'm Tim, I live in Leamington Spa with my wife, our 3 boys, and our dog Bruno.🐶 In March 2023 I decided to do something quite radical and completely change my career. I resigned from my position in our recruitment business and with the support of my family, started a new chapter, doing something I love, Gardens and Ponds!🌳🐸 It was a leap of faith and a little scary at first but, looking back, it's one of the best decisions I've ever made!
I've always enjoyed gardening, and in my spare time I've built ponds for myself and other family members, I love working on our garden and helping friends and family with theirs. My grandparents were keen gardeners too, I spent precious time with them pottering about in their garden when I was a child and have fond memories of helping my Grandad harvest his tomatoes, runner beans, potatoes and cucumbers or helping Nan with cutting her huge Laurel hedge. I love to be outdoors and surrounded by nature.
Since starting work full-time on gardens and ponds, it's been an absolute whirlwind, I haven't stopped but I'm loving every minute of it! I'm less stressed, healthier💪🏻and most importantly much happier!😊Not only that, I work in some fabulous gardens and meet lovely people along the way, perfect!
At TWG&P first and foremost we work with you to create your idea of a perfect outside space. If you need inspiration or ideas, we're happy to help creatively too. We believe in using sustainable practices, we're wildlife-friendly and like to use eco-friendly materials whenever possible. We aim to exceed our client's expectations with every project.
Alex joined TW G&P in Feb '24, he is passionate about sustainable gardening practices and experienced in general landscaping and estate management. Here's a few words from the man himself:
"I'm Alex, from Warwick where I live with my two boys and wife. I've always been outdoorsy, ever since I can remember. My experiences within work have always come from a practical, hands-on perspective. I have a great appreciation for nature and wildlife and always feel most at home and relaxed in my garden, whether I'm hunting for bugs🐞with my boys, spotting birds🐦or tending to my Dahlias!!🌸It's the garden I enjoy being in the most.
Having worked on and off for years in landscaping, gardening, building sites, land management and on a large country estate. I've developed skills that are useful for most garden-related jobs.

As long as there is access to your garden, we can come and do the work. You can either meet us to advise on priorities and leave us to carry on or let us know what’s to be done in advance.
